7. What I do- I run the membership and marketing department at
Briarwood Country Club, in addition to social media and member
relations.
8. What I like most about doing business here- I love my members and
the family community we have built here. There is always something
fun going on from golf to live music to the delicious food.

9. Previous occupation and why- I left Covid hit as I worked in
hospitality consulting and was in public speaking, had to pivot.
10. Changes I’d like to see in this area- The industry is coming back,
just need to always provide the best customer experience
11. What am I promoting- We have brand new membership options.
The newest is Champion Golf, unlimited golf and use of our driving range,
and practice facilities. If you have your own golf cart, then you can utilize it
on our course for no trail fees. Plus, you will have full access to our dining
and social events. Plus, access to our heated pool.
12. What I’m excited about and why-  there is a new energy at the club
with Troon coming in as our management company and our staff that has
taken our golf course and social activities to a whole new level. If you
haven’t visited in a while, you will be amazed by all of the changes.
13. Favorite community cause and why- I love our involvement with
First Tee. First Tee is a youth development organization that enables kids
to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of
new challenges. By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with a life skills
curriculum, they create active learning experiences that build inner
strength, self-confidence, and resilience that kids can carry to everything
they do. They are Building Game Changers through their junior golf
programs.
14. When and why I started my business/employment here- Started in
May 2023, I loved the idea of working with Troon to really help build
something special at Briarwood. I knew I would be able to have a direct
impact on the business and its presence in the community.
15. Where I came from and why- I left I’m from Chicago and was done
with the cold
16. My family- My family is back in Chicago so just me here.
17. My interest & hobbies- I’m a sports nerd and just love my Chicago
teams, but especially my Cubs and Bears.
18. People who inspire me and how- I am inspired but those who have
had difficult times and have been able to bounce back and start anew.
19. My guiding philosophy- Do it anyway! Greatness comes when you
didn’t feel like doing it but you did it anyway.
20. My advice to today’s youth- nothing is owed to you, hard work and
an empathic heart will take you beyond your wildest dreams! Keep at it and
be patient it WILL happen for you.
