Lizeth Navarro, Office Manager at AZ Tree & Hardscape Co.

I started my job here two years ago after leaving my job as an Operations Manager for FedEx. I have had the privilege of working with a team that is passionate about educating the general public on tree care, even if they do not choose to go with our services. I absolutely admire my boss for his unwavering commitment to preserving trees. Not only does he keep track of the number of trees he has cut down, but he also sets a goal to plant the same number of trees back into the environment and planet. I strongly advocate for the implementation of better care for all trees and plant health which begins with proper pruning techniques and understanding over all care needs.

I am a native Arizonan and love the hot weather. My parent’s have been married for 45 years and I’m the youngest of 4, with twin brothers and my oldest sister. My personal background highlights include the unwavering support and encouragement of my daughter and family, who consistently motivate me to strive for self-improvement on a daily basis. I am a member of Radiant Church and through them help support St. Mary’s Food Bank and other generous opportunities to provide food and clothing to those in the West Valley. In my spare time I like to go to the gym, learning how to create new bakery items, volunteering and most of all spending time with my daughter, she is my sunshine and my motivation to keep going.

My guiding philosophy is from Luke 6:35: “But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; and your reward will be great and you well be sons of the Most High, for He Himself is kind to ungrateful and evil men.” My advice to today’s youth is: you don’t have to understand everything. There are no failures-just results to learn from.
