several years… people are WAY more fun than numbers!
10. Changes I’d like to see in this area – I haven’t lived here long
enough to answer that yet… ask me again next year!
11. What am I promoting – A company that offers great care as well as
financial options for families needing to move their loved ones into a
community! We work with Medicaid in WA and will work with ALTCS here
in AZ!
12. What I’m excited about and why – Exploring a new state with my
family! We just moved here this summer.

13. Favorite community cause and why- Anything that supports our
Veterans! My dad is a Vietnam Veteran and I have other family members
who have served our country.
14. When and why I started my employment here- I came here in July
because the company I worked for in Washington, CarePartners Senior
Living acquired its first community in Arizona. It’s now called Vineyard Park
of Surprise.
15. Where I came from and why I left- Washington State. Needed a
break from the rain!
16. My family- I’ve been married to my Contractor husband, Chip, for
27 years. We have two adult children both attending Grand Canyon
University. Our son Cage is 23 in the Worship Arts program, and our
daughter Cadence is 20 and is studying Early Childhood Education.
17. My interests & hobbies- I love to bake! Especially cookies…and
because of that, I also love to work out! Enjoy hiking and biking and
weekend trips to fun places. I love home décor projects and organizing.
Also love good wine and good food!
18. People who inspire me and how- My kids inspire me! They are
both incredible people finding their way in a tough world right now. They
are very different from each other but have individual qualities and talents
that I love about them! Cage has a crazy sense of humor and a laugh that
you can’t help but laugh with him when you hear it. His self-taught talent
with music & photography is amazing! Cadence has always been the
most self-sufficient person I know! She has an uncanny way of letting
things just roll off her back. I’ve always admired that about her! She’s a
hard worker and isn’t afraid to get in and get dirty! They both played high
level soccer and my favorite past time was watching them on the pitch!
My residents also inspire me… aging is not an easy thing sometimes
and watching them work hard to get stronger after an illness or injury or to
stay independent is always humbling to me! We have a lot of fun together
too, which is so important!
19. My guiding philosophy- You can’t control other people, but you can
control how you let them affect you. Everyone writes their own story!
20. My advice to today’s youth – Pay attention and ask ALL the
questions. Do your own research.
